Starbucks - Long Island

I've been "touring" local LI Starbucks locations and all I can say is...I'm a city girl at heart. But, I digress. If you are all business, the Starbucks in Lake Success (next to Duane Reade) is the one for you. It is mostly businessmen/women and/or doctors and nurses on their way to/from work at one of the local area hospitals. The Starbucks on the service road of the L.I.E. and Little Neck Parkway is a little bigger and people are pretty friendly but my favorite is the one on Northern Blvd. in Great Neck for the simple fact that it is a drive-thru! Love that! Doesn't give much opportunity to socialize but that's okay because it is always packed, the parking lot is always full and you can almost never find a seat inside anyway. Long live the drive-thru!

As for the rest of this place today - the holiday spirit has officially worn off. It has been packed all day and when I asked a very annoyed young woman if she was willing to share her table with me she looked like she was going to take an AK47 to my head. Happy Holidays!
